Clear nose of passion fruit with subtle aromas of strawberries.
In the mouth it is the opposite, the passion fruit gives its place to the strawberry and is not too far behind. It is there to support it and gives a length in mouth to the flavor of the strawberry.
The jam has a very nice length in the mouth and the passion fruit overtakes the strawberry flavor in time at the end. It seems as if the two fruits are in a relay race.

Does Punch Spreads produce jams?
In everyday language, yes! However, on our labels, Canadian law requires us to use the term “spread”.
In Canada, the term “jam” is strictly regulated: it requires a minimum sugar content of 66%. At Punch, we believe that a good product doesn’t need to be loaded with sugar. Our organic spreads contain up to 48% less sugar (like our mango-orange flavor) than traditional jams. That’s why we’re not legally allowed to call them that.
It’s a modern irony: while public health authorities are encouraging us to reduce our sugar intake—and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is now scrutinizing products that are too high in sugar—an old law dating back to the 19th century forces us to add sugar if we want to use the word “jam.” Back then, sugar was expensive, and this law protected consumers from fraud. Today, sugar is cheap and overused.

Are your products organic certified
Yes, almost all of our spreads are certified organic. We use ingredients from organic farming, with no additives or preservatives, to ensure that our products are healthy and environmentally friendly.
How should you store your spreads, and how long do they last?
Before opening, store the jars in a cool, dry place, away from light. Once opened, they should be refrigerated and consumed within 3 to 4 weeks to preserve their full flavor. Some flavors will keep for several months without any problems.
